FB had a lovely suggestion ....... children put art work up in front windows for St Patrick’s Day so that we can celebrate in some way and the children have something to look at when we go our on our walks (observing social distancing advice of course). It’s called a reverse St Patrick’s Day Parade...we walk by the entertainment instead of the parade going by us. They're doing similar stuff in Spain to keep children's spirits up. Sounds like a nice idea for our community!
On Monday our Parent Association will launch a daily art challenge for children to keep the children occupied while at home .The children will be given a theme every morning at 9.20am and asked to draw or paint something that inspires them related to that theme. Parents can then take a picture of the artwork & post to the Original post on facebook with the child’s name . All artwork posted will then be entered into a weekly draw on Friday for a prize ( not a big prize but a prize for fun). The theme for Monday to give your kids a head start is "St Patrick " Follow our PA on facebook.
