This is a photo of team captains and mentors after we won the double in Parnell Park in May 2013.
These are of the photos from the glory year of 2012-13. The girls won the Meath Cumann na mBunscol Division One title for a second time in the school's history. In May 2012 the boys won the Division One Fingal League title for the first time. The girls in their red and green were runners up in the Premier Final to Ratoath S.N.S.
The picture of the two former Meath players Joe Sheridan and Seamus Kenny was taken when they came to present medals to the panels at an assembly in May 2012. In 2012, two of our pupils played for the Meath Schools team at half time during the Leinster Final between Dublin and Meath in Croke Park. The Dubs won. The girls won that day and the boys lost to Ratoath. All but one of the team went through Mr. Gilligan's Football Academy in St. Seachnall's N.S. Dunshaughlin won the championship three times in a row (2000, 2001 and 2002) As well as capturing the Meath and Leinster Championships, Dunshaughlin also gained outright victory in the All County A’League and Feis Cup and thus completed the most successful year in Meath football history |
