Thanks to Ettie and team for providing hurling/camogie to Rang 2 over the last few weeks. It was greatly appreciated by all!
Black and Amber, the story of the GAA in Dunshaughlin, was launched last weekend. The book which is in colour throughout, contains 700 pages and 500 photographs of football, hurling, camogie and handball in the parish covering the past 125 years. Copies are available from Maureen at the school office priced at €30.
On Friday 9th October we held a Jersey Day in St. Seachnall's N.S. in aid of the Syrian Refugees. We have raised €1192 so far. Well done everybody!!
Congratulations to Rang 6 for organising our Christmas Cake Sale in aid of Childline. We have just donated €880.
On Friday 26th June 2015, St. Seachnall's N.S. offically became an Active School. Our Active School Flag was raised by Graham Reilly from the Meath team. We celebrated our Active School status with an outdoor assembly and whole school walk. Congratulations to all involved! Congratulations to our two teams who participated in the Blake Cup today. We were narrowly beaten in the cup final by Dunboyne and in the shield final by St. Declans, Ashbourne. Thank you to Mary and team for providing sandwiches, buns, drinks etc, it was very much appreciated. We are supporting the Irish Cancer Society Tomorrow. Please send in coins so we can make a coin trail!
