The PA got up and running again in 2025, establishing a new committee and associated constitution. We have developed a reliable communication network with parents via a Whatsapp parent representative for each class group.
At Christmas time we had our first major series of fundraising events which included organising the children's hand drawn Christmas cards, a bake sale, a Christmas jumper swap and a raffle.
We were busy at spring time with Confirmation goodie bags, providing a welcome on Grandparents Day with hot drinks and homemade baked goods for the guests of honour. We also issued a survey to understand parents' expectations of the PA.
Coming into the summer months, we organised personalised hoodies for children of 6th class and hosted a family music bingo night. A coffee morning was held for parents of children with additional needs.
We organised and served refreshments for families of children making their First Holy Communion on the big day itself. A National Parents Council also took place for parents of 5th class children on the Transition from Primary to Secondary School.
