We hope you all enjoyed our Second Class Blog.
Best of luck in Third Class. Ms. Crehan Ms. Calvey Ms. Kane    In all three Second Classes, we have been reading and studying different novels throughout the year. The children are in different groupings. Children complete tasks based on the novels such as prediction, summary and character profiling. Children take it in turns to read aloud to the group and we discuss the story, characters and vocabulary as we go along. Usually, the children are asked to re-read those same pages with an adult for homework.
The children really enjoy reading together and have really improved at their reading too. |
