​Congratulations to all the children in Rang 6, who were confirmed today. Thank you to Father Seán Henry, Father Joseph Clavin and Bishop Deenihan for a lovely ceremony. Thank you to Mr. Slack, Mr. Stafford and Ms. Mercer for preparing the children. We also wish to thank our school choir and our teachers, Ms. Mercer, Ms. Griffin, Mr. Collins and Ms. Traynor for helping with the music. Thank you to our Parents' Association for organising goodie bags for all our children in Rang 6. We hope you all have a great day.

Lena Gallagher represented St. Seachnall's NS in the Intel Mini Scientist final in TUD Blanchardstown on the 13th February. Lena researched the School Meals programme. She found that there was a gap in the research. The children, who would be eating the meals hadn't been asked for their opinion. Lena wanted to change that. When Lena surveyed our school and a Deis school in Dublin, she found that the overall rating was 3.17 out of 5. The lunches fell down in portion size, presentation and overall enjoyment. Lena presented excellently to the judges and represented St. Seachnalls with pride. We're all so proud of you Lena. Well done!
