Well done to our girls camogie team on a super performance against St. Mary's Ashbourne. Unfortunately we lost on this occasion, however the team all really enjoyed the day.
Dunshaughlin Tidy Towns Group invited St. Seachnall's NS to participate in the An Taisce National Spring Clean event on Thursday 30th April. The children from Ms. O'Dwyer's class helped with litter picking, hoeing sweeping and general cleaning chores. Well done to all involved. On 22nd April, St. Seachnall's NS Choir participated in The Big Sing in the National Stadium. It was a brilliant night. We wish to thank Ms. O'Dowd and Ms. Maguire for preparing the children so well for the event. Our favourite guest was definitely 10 year old Stevie Mulrooney, who performed One Moment in Time. Congratulations to our Junior Girls GAA team on a super win against Gaelscoil Baile Brigín 9-12 to 1-0.
Our hurling and camogie teams were both in action this week. Our hurling team had a great win against Wilkinstown 6:11-3:1. We are delighted to have a camogie team once again in St. Seachnalls - hard to believe it is 8/9 years since we last had a camogie team. The girls performed very well, but were unfortunately beaten.
Thank you to our Parents' Association for presenting hoodies to all the children in Rang 6. The children are delighted with their new hoodies.
