We had a very emotional farewell assembly yesterday for Ms. Mc Hugh. On behalf of our school community we wish Ms. Mc Hugh a well deserved restful and enjoyable retirement. Congratulations to all children in 5th class for participating in our Mini Scientist Exhibition this year. The winning project is 'Why should we keep our grass green?' by Grace, Matthew, Shane and Eppie. The team will now represent our school at the Intel Mini Scientist Exhibition. Congratulations to our hurling team, captained by Shane O' Reilly on a super victory against Scoil Mhuire! Thank you to our mentors Barry Murphy, Niamh O' Riordan, Liam Mac Namara, Caitríona Traynor and Ettie Philip for all the training sessions over the last few weeks. Thank you to O' Riordan Construction for sponsoring our jerseys and to all all our supporters for cheering the team on in such good spirit. St. Seachnall's NS 4-5 Scoil Mhuire 0-2 Revolution robotics visited the school on Wednesday and the children loved learning about how robots work and what they can be used for.
