On Wednesday 26th February, Olympian Stacey Flood came to speak to the children from 3rd - 6th on her sporting achievements. Stacey played Gaelic football for Dublin underage and was also a promising soccer player. She played for Ireland’s U18 Sevens in 2014 and made her senior debut a year later, when still 18. She has racked up 217 games and 228 points on the World Series, including her 50th try last December, and she also has 10 Six Nations caps at fly half. Stacey represented Ireland in Rugby Sevens in the Paris Olympic Games in 2024.
