Dunshaughlin Tidy Towns Group express their appreciation to the pupils of St. Seachnall's NS who demonstrated their creative skills in designing posters for the highly successful Earth Day Event in Dunshaughlin Park.
Dunshaughlin Tidy Towns Group is embarking on an ambitious initiative to create a Sensory and Remembrance Garden in Dunshaughlin Park which will cater for the needs of the whole community in particular neurodivergent children and adults including those who are autistic, providing a multitude of elements to stimulate the senses of sight, hearing, smell, taste and touch whilst also offering quite spaces for solitude and reflection. Biodiversity and sustainability and will also be key factors of the project which will include pollinator friendly planting, a woodland area, a playground section, and the creation of habitats for solitary bees and a various species of invertebrates.
