This week was Anti Bullying Week in St. Seachnall's N.S. The children are all very aware of the new Bí Cineálta procedures. We have lots of positive messages around our school promoting kindness. Our focus this week was to promote a safe 'telling' environment, so that if there is an incident we can help the children resolve the issue through restorative practice. Restorative practice helps to repair relationships by asking the following questions:
- What happened?
- What were you thinking at the time?
- What have you thought about it since?
- Who has been affected and in what way?
- How could things have been done differently?
- What do you think needs to happen next?
