St. Seachnall's N.S. School Crest Information
The school crest was based on original drawings by Stephen Arkins, Ronan Duffy and Filip Kos who were sixth class pupils in the 1998/99 school year. The book represents the learning that occurs in the school. The bishop’s mitre (hat) represents St. Seachnall, founder of Dunshaughlin. The football and hurley represents the school’s commitment to sport, especially Gaelic Games. The crannóg recalls Lagore Crannóg, home of the local kings in the 7th and 8th centuries. |
