Is fearr gaeilge briste ná bearla cliste!
Over the past few months we've been learning some great songs as Gaeilge thanks to TG Lurgan! So far we've learned 'Wake Me Up' by Avicii and 'Riptide' by Vance Joy. In our class, broken Irish really is better than clever English! If you want to join in and listen to some of the songs we've been learning just have a listen to the music below. The first one is a recording of us singing 'Wake Me Up'. Hope you enjoy!
We, in Ms. Reilly's 3rd class, have just started to learn about the famous Irish explorer, Tom Crean. So far we've looked at some pictures of his life and talked about some of the different voyages of discovery he went on. We've been finding it very interesting and can't wait to find out more about his life! If you want to find out about his life just click below to visit some great websites about Tom Crean.
We've been learning about life in the Amazon Rainforest. If you want to learn some more please click on the button below where you'll find lots of interesting facts, games and activities. Have fun!
Click on this link to the Rainforest Alliance's Kids webpage where you can read stories about life in the rainforest, check out some 'Forest Facts' and read some 'Species Profiles' to find out more about some of the animals that live in the rainforest.
