Tara News was a sweet shop called Florrys.
There was only 85 children in the school and 4 teachers.
There was 4 cars in Dunshaughlin, they were owned by the doctor, the priest, the school teacher and Mr. Murphy.
The children wore no uniforms and in the summer wore no shoes.
They tied old rags together in the shape of a circle for a football.
The toilet was a shed outside the back of the school.
There was a hole in the school yard and it was called the hollow.
Lawless' and Gogans were the only grocery stores in the village.
We really enjoyed the talk and we would like to say a big thank you to our visitors for helping us to learn more about our village.
We went on a walk around the village and looked at how some of the buildings have changed.
We wrote up projects about Dunshaughlin.
It was really interesting and we really enjoyed it.
