Roots of Empathy Programme

Miss Lynch has been working with Miss Sheils class all year on a very special programme called 'Roots of Empathy'. Since she was 3 months old baby Kate and her Mum Siobhan have been visiting the class. Each month the children discuss how much baby Kate has changed and through learning about baby Kate's feelings and emotions, they have learned a lot about their own feelings and the feelings of their friends. This week baby Kate and her Mum will visit the class for the last time. We are so thankful to her Mum Siobhan for allowing us to spend time with her and her beautiful daughter. We have learned so much. Miss Lynch has really helped us to understand the importance of feelings. We loved every minute of this fantastic programme. Thank-you Miss Lynch, Siobhan and most of all thank-you baby Kate. We will miss you!
